Kingston Tiny Tots Kindergarten
Our Kindergarten children further their understanding of the world through play-based activities that support their development in all areas. At Tiny Tots, our educators collaborate closely with both children and families to establish a nurturing and dynamic learning environment. Our qualified teachers help children develop curiosity, competence, and teamwork skills in the year leading up to school.
Transitioning to Primary School can be intimidating, so we maintain strong connections with local schools to ensure a smooth transition. Weekly visits to the schools help the children familiarize themselves with the environment. Additionally, engaging in buddy reading with older students fosters relationships and a sense of belonging. Our approach incorporates an anti-bias curriculum to advocate for equality, empowerment, and respect while demonstrating fairness and inclusivity. We respect every child's right to play, build upon what they already know from home, and lay the groundwork for them to become lifelong learners.

At Kingstion Tiny Tots, our early learning program includes a variety of activities for toddlers, such as story time, group activities, individual play, quiet and intellectually stimulating play, and creative and theatrical play. We also incorporate music and dance into their daily routine.
Additionally, we provide sensory play activities such as water play, sand play, and play-dough. These activities help toddlers explore different textures and materials, stimulating their senses and promoting cognitive development.
During the first 5 years of a child's life, their brain undergoes rapid development, with their cognitive growth shaped by the environment around them.
